Women in Construction Week 2019 Recap!
NAWIC Boise Chapter 245 spent Women in Construction Week 2019 out and about in our community. Billboards, window clings, jobsite tours, dinner and networking, delivering goodies and introducing ourselves to local companies with potential new members, as well as a donation drive for our local Meridian Canine Rescue! We had a great turnout from members and new faces and enjoyed our week!
We used our power for a fun and successful WIC Week 2019! Thank you to everyone who support us!

Block Kids 2018
The Boise NAWIC Chapter #245 held the 2018 Blocks Kids competition on January 20, 2018 at Boise State University’s College of Engineering. There were 48 total contestants that participated in the competition ranging in grades from Kindergarten to Sixth. Each contestant was given 100 building blocks, a piece of foil, a string, a rock, and a poster board to build something related to the construction industry. The creativity of the contestants shined throughout the event. We had cranes, equipment, dams, buildings, and even safety personnel built. We awarded a total of six first and second place prizes along with one grand prize winner. A big thank you goes out to our entertainment for the morning – Kipp Sherry Magic and Marketing, LLC. and Face Painting by Andrea Glenn and to our awesome photographer Ashley with Ruby Shoes Photography!
