Boise Chapter 29th Annual Awards & Dinner Auction

The National Association of Women in Construction would like to cordially invite you to attend our 29th Annual Awards Dinner & Auction in conjunction with our Boise Chapter 40th Anniversary Gala, Saturday, March 10th, 2018
 Eagle Hills Golf Course  
     Cedars Banquet Room
605 N Edgewood Ln, Eagle, ID
 
Doors open and silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner, awards and recognition will begin at 7:00 p.m.
 
Dinner includes your choice of:   
Fulton Farms Tri Tip perfectly seasoned USDA choice tri-tip accompanied by horseradish and pan au jus, garlic mashed skin on red potatoes & gravy, and vegetable catalina
Cedar Wrapped Atlantic King Salmon, garlic mashed skin on red potatoes & gravy, and vegetable catalina
Big Easy Chicken & Pasta Panko crusted chicken breast with a spicy New Orleans cream sause over bow tie pasta served with vegetable catalina
 
Tickets for the event are $55 each  
or you may sponsor a table of eight for $400 or a table of nine for $455
 
You may pre-purchase tickets for our two raffle drawings.  The first raffle prize includes garden supplies, tools, seeds, bulbs and more.  The second raffle prize includes everything you need to set up a bar.
 
We also gladly accept donations for the auction.  Auction proceeds will assist NAWIC in offering college scholarships to Idaho students pursuing construction related degrees and in supporting various community projects.

Our March Chapter Meeting is next week,  I hope you all can join us. 

Meeting Topic:  LEED with Speaker:  Mike Montoya, Clinical Assistant Professor Construction Management at Boise State University. 

 

Please RSVP yes or no for our March meeting by 5PM, March 1st.  - Please include your DINNER CHOICE Cost is $25 per person.  Indicate in your RSVP comments if you are bringing a guest please list their name, dinner choice and if this is their first meeting in comments.

Block Kids Competetion

The Block Kids Building program is a national building program competition that is sponsored on the local level by NAWIC chapters and other organizations. The award-winning program introduces children to the construction industry to create an awareness of and to promote an interest in future careers in one of the many facets of the industry. The program is open to all elementary school children in grades K-6. The competition involves the construction of various structures with interlocking blocks and three of the following items: a small rock, string, foil, and poster board.
